JR0037325 Data Plane SW Intern Work Location: Shanghai Email: si.yeu.lai@intel.com Job Description: Currently the Telco and Cloud networking are transforming towards data center server/rack based system infrastructure, open source play a significant role by providing the software reference and key software optimization technologies . Joining the data plane software team, you will get opportunity to access the industry cutting-edge system technologies such as Intel server processor, Ethernet and Chipset, Linux system profiling, Virtualization, NFV, Container. You will also learn how to work/contribute with the open source projects such as DPDK, OVS etc. Depend on the individual strength and passions, you may work on the DPDK virtualization, Contrail virtualization enhancement, NFV Container pathfinding, Programmable data plane with HW acceleration, Or even RegEx algorithm intensive study. Qualifications: -Strong passionate about of learning the system internals such as processor or operating system -Familiar with Linux system installation, software development environment and toolchain such as Linux Shell, GIT, GCC, GDB, Make/Config utilities -Good understanding of Linux networking and Ethernet driver techniques. Familiar with TCP/IP, Ethernet, Switch, Router basics -Good understanding of open source community/tools -Major in Computer science or equivalent -Good knowledge of Computer Internals, Networking and Telecom technology -Demonstrate the technology curiosity and problem solving skills All of the interns hired this time are required to be: -At least 6 months internship, so it is necessary to get mentor''s permission to leave school for quite a long time -Working at least 3 days a week, 5 days is preferred -Fluency in both spoken and written English / presentation skill Please subject your email title “JR0037325 Data Plane SW Intern_Shanghai_XX days_per week_XX months” when applying to si.yeu.lai@intel.com |
