Optiver is a proprietary trading company where the brightest minds use the most advanced software to set fair prices for investors worldwide. Or as we like to call it: market making.

Requirements for being a Trader at Optiver:

√  A final-year student with outstanding academic background and a flair for numbers as well as a passion to learn more about finance and the markets.
√  Quantitative degree(s) in Applied/Quantitative Finance, Econometrics, Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Actuarial Studies, or Computer Science.
√  Excellent communication skills in English.
Requirements for being a Developer at Optiver:

√  A final-year student with outstanding academic background in Computer Science or Software Engineering, with a firm grasp of Object Oriented design and development concepts.
√  A natural problem solver who loves nothing more than tackling a complex technical challenge.
√  Excellent communication skills in English.

2.  Upcoming Events:
Shanghai Office Tour for Developer Role:
For developer candidates who are based in Shanghai, we will invite you to the office tours plus onsite coding challenge to get a FAST PASS to our interview precess. Please send your English resume to ChinaCareers@Optiver.com.au with the subject of “Office tour_Last name/first name_graduation year” before September 18th. Our office tours will take place in the week of September 25th.

Campus presentations plus onsite tests from the week of October 9th to win a GOLDEN TICKET to our Trader and Developer interview process.
