Primary Job Responsibilities This is a position in eBay Billing Analytics team (as part of eBay global billing&payment Technology Team). This position is responsible for assistant on data ETL batch jobs monitoring, performing data validation and quanlity control, developing simple analytical scripts and generating tabular reports. Job Requirements - Maintain batch job scripts in Linux SHELL environment. - Work closely with Developers and Business Analysts to setup ETL process with Shell and SAS scripts. - Develop and maintain process flow and job scheduling on Automic (UC4) platform. - Look into data and figure out analytical vision by either pivot table or any other tools. - Basic documentation works, to summarize process flow and make document for team reference. . - Investigate and Troubleshoot data quality issues, ETL batch errors and other QA related issues. Basic Qualifications - Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organization skills. - Competent with Microsoft Excel and able to create spreadsheets with good formatting and complex formulas. - Knowledge of simple statistical analysis, able to use analytical tools such as Excel / SPSS / SAS / R - Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL. - Good English skills (verbal and written), at least able to read and write, good oral English is a big plus. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, quick learner, good Self-Learning skills. - BS+ degree in Computer Science / Information Management / Mathematics / Statistics / Economics or other technical fields.
